All About Gracie Goes

Trip recs from your favorite over-planner
Hey there! My name is Gracie and I can't wait to share my travels with you!
Greetings from salty, coastal Portland, Maine! If you know me, you know that nothing brings me more joy than playing tour guide around my stunning New England home.
I've lived & worked from Newport, RI to Portland, ME and compiled long lists of recommendations for top eating spots, best hiking trails, favorite ice cream stops -you name it!- along my way. For years I've sent these recs to inquisitive friends and family members but recently recognized that others may benefit from a local's guide to the Northeast as well. So, here we are - me with a new hobby and you (hopefully) with some new places to explore and local favorites to try!
Aside from the best New England jaunts, you'll also soon find my itineraries for trips to the Azores, Joshua Tree National Park, the Pacific Coast Highway and more on Gracie Goes! You see, I have this problem. I go a little overboard when I plan trips. And I LOVE to plan trips. I want to make it as simple as possible for everyone to take trips to magical places - even the disorganized among us:) My itineraries are chocked full of dos & don'ts, personal recommendations, and detailed directions. Feel free to copy-paste my adventures, or use the info as a launching point for your own!

No, this is not my full time job, but once-upon-a-time giving tours was! I never tire of showing people around my favorite cities, and I hope to be able to show you all a glimpse of these exciting places through this blog.
Find yourself a travel buddy
This is me and my husband, J. You'll see him quite frequently on these pages because he is forever my ever-patient model!
I love to photograph as we travel and would much rather be behind the camera than in front of it. J is always a good sport and brings a new meaning to the term "Instagram Husband." Speaking of, don't forget to head to @graciegoes_blog on Instagram and give us a follow! You'll get updated when new articles drop on the blog or maybe just get inspired for your next trip to New England or beyond.
Thanks again for visiting!
